Sarah E. Feinberg
Sarah E. Feinberg is the founder of Feinberg Strategies LLC, a strategic communications and public policy firm that specializes in advising technology companies, with a special focus on companies using blockchain technology. Feinberg founded the firm in 2017, following a career that spanned many years of government service, as well as deep experience in the tech sector.
Feinberg’s time in government service included serving in several senior roles at all levels of government, from Capitol Hill to the Obama White House to the US Department of Transportation. Feinberg also recently served as the interim President and CEO of New York City Transit – the largest transit agency in North America, home of the iconic NYC Subway, and serving, on average, more than 9 million riders each weekday.
Prior to serving as NYCT President, Feinberg also served as the Administrator of the Federal Railroad Administration, US DOT Chief of Staff and senior advisor to Rahm Emanuel, President Obama’s first White House Chief of Staff. At the White House, Feinberg most notably worked on the White House’s strategic communications response to the country's fiscal and economic crisis.
Feinberg also has deep tech, communications and public policy expertise. She served as director of policy communications at Facebook, and served as Bloomberg LP’s Global Director of Communications and Business Strategy.
Feinberg is a resident of the East Village in New York City and a native of Charleston, West Virginia.
